爱德华王子岛大学提倡一种健康的生活方式，鼓励学生充分利用学校现有的设施参加各种活动，学生可以自由参加学校的健身俱乐部。学校有Chi-Wan Young Sports Center和CARI(Capital Area Recreation Inc.)，这里有加拿大大西洋省份中的顶级体育设施。
爱德华王子岛大学非常关注国际学生，尤其是一年级的新生。学校设有国际学生办公室，内设专门顾问来欢迎国际学生加入爱德华王子岛大学并为他们提供优先服务。每年的九月和一月学校都会提供新生指南;学校还设有一年级新生建议中心(First-Year Advisement Centre)，为学生提供各方面的服务，以帮助他们更好地适应学校里的生活和学习。
住宿条件编辑
爱德华王子岛大学有三幢宿舍楼：The Bernardine Hall，The Blanchard Hall和The New Residence。
The Bernardine Hall建于1967年，是一幢现代化的四层建筑，与The Dining Hall相邻，2005年学校对其进行了修整，可以容纳147名学生。这里配备的是双人间，所有的房间都装修好了，配有大衣橱、书架等。3-4人共用一个浴室。每一层楼都有电视房、学习房、厨房等。该楼为男女混住，有两层楼只提供给女性。一年级的新生主要被安排在这里居住。
The Blanchard Hall是公寓式的宿舍楼，在校园的最南面，有三层楼，共有65套两居室公寓。每套公寓都配有客厅、储藏室和浴室、厨房操作台、沙发、椅子、咖啡台、冰箱、27”电视+电话和可选的高速宽带服务。如果住在这里，Meal Plan是可选择的。这里的宿位优先提供给高年级的学生以及成人学生。
The New Residence于2006年1月开放，是一幢五层楼的建筑，内有一居室、两居室和三居室，是混住的，只提供给大学二年级以上的学生使用，每套居室都有自己的淋浴房、微波炉、小冰箱、厨房洗涤盆、桌椅等，所有的卧室都是独立的。从这里到The Wanda Wyatt Dining Hall很方便，无需出楼就可直接进入。所有想住校的学生都可以申请在这里居住。
住在The Bernardine Hall和The New Residence的学生，都需要在学校的the Wanda Wyatt Dining Hall里选择5天或7天的Meal Plan，这部分的费用都包含在住宿费里。

要求 ：Awarded to International students from developing countries who are enrolled in full-time studies at UPEI; selection criteria include academic achievement and financial need.

要求 ：Awarded annually to a UPEI student from a Commonwealth country other than Canada in any field of study. The award is based on academic excellence and need. If there are no applicants from a Commonwealth country, then a Canadian can be selected.
